Shop Sustainably this Christmas

With Christmas around the corner (6 weeks!), we have been busy at Paper Tree creating and preparing our eco-friendly gifts, decorations and wrapping.

This is the perfect time (‘perfect’ characterized by mulling the thought over a mince pie), to think about what we might buy for our loved ones this Christmas.

Paper Tree is here to help you to shop sustainably this Christmas. Why not wrap your gifts in our eco-friendly wrapping paper and place around your Christmas tree to create some festive anticipation? Our wrapping paper is recycled, FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council) or PEFC (Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) where forest products are responsibly harvested from verified sources.

We also have the most beautiful paper gift toppers made from sustainable mulberry paper – paper mistletoe, paper holly & poinsettia. It is important to use paper tape rather than polluting plastic tape so that the paper can be recycled again. Finish the gift with paper ribbon or cotton twine.

Decorate your home with some of our Christmas decorations, red paper berry stems and festive paper flowers. The paper used to make these flowers is made from the bark of the Mulberry tree. The tree is a persistently growing perennial regenerating itself after harvest and therefore a sustainable resource. The bark can be made into a natural paper without destroying the tree. Perfect as a gift for a loved one or for yourself!
