Autumn is a time when flowers are fading and Summer blooms give way to rosehips and berries. I particularly love the red berries that the Hypericum flower creates. This paper hypericum looks stunning mixed with paper flowers and contrasts with the white paper roses & hellebore.
My favourite paper rose is this yellow and pink tinged rose. The colour is perfect for Autumn representing the warm light at this time of year and the glow of the setting sun.
The yellow roses in this bouquet are complimented by ivory white roses, eucaplyptus, hellebore and green hydrangea.
As Autumn deepens the ivy berry creates a food source for insects and birds then turns black as Winter arrives.
I wish you a good Autumn despite the trepidation that we all face it with. I hope that we will emerge from this year in a better place than we began it and that the difficulties of this year will pave the way for a better world and a greener future.
