Wedding Stationery – Paper Tree

Thank you to Daily Butterfly for this blog post below, the lovely Daily Butterfly blog provides inspiration & tips for home, lifestyle, health & work

Looking for some wedding stationery? Check out Paper Tree,  they have some cute designs (some of my favourites are shown below). Ann-Marie, the creator of the Paper Tree has written her top tips, especially for Daily Butterfly readers, for when you are choosing stationery for your wedding:

  1. Think of the overall style & look of your wedding, is there a theme or colour scheme that you like? Is it a formal or informal style wedding?  For example, a rustic style wedding in tipis would suit kraft brown stationery with floral details.  A church wedding may suit ivory or white stationery with a formal black print.
  2. Use pinterest for inspiration! It is easy to find hundreds of ideas for stationery by searching on pinterest and to narrow your search to a specific style or colour.  You can then create a ‘pin board’ with all your favourite ideas. Visit stationery websites and pin any ideas you like too.
  3. Try & use the same style of stationery right the way through from invitations to place cards & menus.
  4. Think of your budget, it doesn’t have to cost a fortune if you are creative. You could buy card blanks then design & print your own.

Paper Tree is a creative business run by Ann-Marie, based just north of Brighton. Her work is eco-friendly and she uses recycled and FSC paper and her products are ultimately biodegradable or recyclable. Special commissions have included making miniature pear trees for Gucci and floral cake decorations for Duchy Originals. Her rose petals have enjoyed starring roles in the films ‘Alexander’ and ‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire’. You can buy online or contact Ann-Marie for bespoke creations.
